For CIRKL, Ruben Mardulier selected a series of short performances over the past year. He now blends them into a musical medley. The whole exudes its own quirky, unfinished charm. Let yourself be surprised by Ruben's spontaneous creativity, made with lots of love at 30CC.
Trying to sum up Ruben Mardulier in a few sentences is not easy. In 2015, he graduated from the Academy for Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg. In October 2016 he, together with Michiel Deprez, formed the artist duo Mardulier and Deprez (MenD) with which they explored both themselves as circus artists and their immediate environment. Since 2022, Ruben has been developing solo as a multimedia artist. Through installations, video montages, performances and interventions in public space, he invites you into his perspective on the world. A perspective that is always recognizable, but shown slightly differently.
Ruben is this season's focus artist of 30CC and until 2025 he is also house resident of circus workshop Miramiro in Ghent.
