Enter a safe place where everyone can be themselves. But what if fear invades here, too? Dar challenges you to think about fear, trusting and overcoming obstacles. Circus, parkour, a child and a drone join forces on this intriguing trip.
MOVEDBYMATTER is a transdisciplinary circus organization led by performance artist Kasper Vandenberghe. For each project, they departs from an open-minded investigation into the relationship between performer, audience and matter. The organization allows itself to be driven by the irrepressible desire to master that relationship, but at the same time searches for the fatal point at which that mastery will inevitably fail. The circus performer sets matter in motion, but is ultimately also moved by it. This border experience is always translated in a distinctly visual, physical and ritualistic manner.
