BeraadGeslagen is the rock-solid duo comprised of drummer Lander Gyselinck and keyboardist/singer Fulco Ottervanger. You might recognize them from their debut album Duizeldorp with the cult classic Isabellade. Fulco is also known for his work with Stadt and De Beren Gieren, while Lander performed with STUFF. and LABtrio and collaborated with Zwangere Guy.

Last autumn, they dropped their new album Altijd Bewust Bewegen (which translates as Always Consciously Moving). On this album, the duo explores the reasons for movement and translates the harmonious relationship between head and body into their own musical language.

Once again, the two improvisational athletes stretch gracefully between the limits of gravity. Their admiration for movement culture takes them from the gym to the racetrack, from apps to abs. A breaststroke here, a backhand there. An aimless goalkeeper musing on a distant acquaintance. From village to town and back, the tandem rushes at French speed to their tennis lesson.

Altijd Bewust Bewegen is playful and cheeky jazz that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still manages to showcase the duo’s impressive musical talents. They will present their latest album in a club setting, where you can join them on stage and go wild.
