String Quartet No. 2, op. 4
The family quartet of the Tchalik siblings returns with a varied program: two short quartets by Mozart and Mendelssohn, followed by the Second Quartet by the Ukrainian composer Lyatoshynsky. Written in 1919, this quartet demonstrates the post-Romantic influence of the Russian school and an affinity with Slavic folklore.
