The Vlaams Muziek Theater (Flemish Music Theatre) of Heist-op-den-Berg celebrates its 50th anniversary by performing the most popular melodies from the golden and silver age of Viennese operetta. Think of the most beautiful arias from famous operettas such as The Gypsy Princess, The Merry Widow, The Tsarevich, The Land of Smiles, The Bird Seller, The Gypsy Baron, The Flittermouse, The White Horse Inn ...

It will be a delightful afternoon of nostalgia and sparkling music, a unique concert that will delight every operetta fan.

This operetta gala will be performed by four outstanding soloists: soprano Nathalie Denyft, mezzo-soprano An Janssens, tenor Kris Wouters and baritone François Jacobs, supported by the 15-piece salon orchestra conducted by Frank Boonen.

With music by Emmerich Kálmán, Franz Lehár, Robert Stolz, Johann Strauss Jr, Carl Zeller and many others.
All are sung in Dutch.
