Breathing is an automatic process. It keeps us alive. It is the driving force behind our vital functions, our voice and our movement. Breathing is a powerful yet fragile biological system and not as self-evident as we sometimes assume. Only when we are unable to breathe, we realise its value.

Acrobatics and classical singing come together in Chaïm. Both arts are a form of bodily virtuosity controlled by breath. The show moves to the rhythm of breathing. Breath becomes voice, movement and music. On stage, there are three performers: a classically trained singer, an acrobat and a young performer.
