All That Jazz Battle ft. Hypercontent!

We present the fourth edition of the All That Jazz Battle, an exclusive event held as part of Leuven Jazz.

The best freestyle dancers will represent their style in a one-on-one format. Each dancer is paired with a jazz instrument and must freestyle against their opponent using that instrument. The further a dancer progresses, the more instruments they will dance to.

The bands Kau, Glashelder and Bandler Ching took part in the first three editions. For this new edition, we are excited to announce that the seven-piece band Hypercontent! will be joining us! They will open the evening with a live set, after which the battle will begin.

We will announce the names of the dancers, hosts and jury members later.

Hypercontent! – Brussels Groove Explosion

Hypercontent! is a French-Chilean-Belgian collective based in Brussels that turns live performances into dance floors. Driven by raw energy and a deep love of groove, drummers Raphaël Aurand and Elie Gouleme lead the way.

With seven musicians on stage, the band fuses powerful house rhythms, electronic textures, and warm funk and groove to create an explosive live show. Think Kerri Chandler, Ezra Collective or Echt!, but above all, think of their own unique sound: organic, free and intensely lively.

Since 2024, the band has been conquering the Belgian music scene with increasingly intense and engaging concerts, culminating in a sold-out performance at the Beursschouwburg (Brussels Jazz Alert). In 2025, they performed at the Brussels Jazz Weekend, released the single KIFF TOTAL and played a series of concerts in France. 2026 promises to be a turning point: they are releasing their EP during Leuven Jazz and have numerous dates lined up in Belgium and abroad!

• 21.30–22.00 h: Judges Showcases & Finals (1st & 3rd place)
• 22.00-01.00 h: Afterparty
