This new dance theatre creation by Peeping Tom takes the audience on a manipulative trip of apocalyptic proportions.

In S 62° 58', W 60° 39' a ship has run aground and is stuck in a mass of ice. A small community is trapped in this dangerous, bleak landscape. They can only survive if they turn to nature for guidance and wait until the ice melts so they can continue their journey. Suddenly, the show becomes a performance in a performance, when we end up in another reality: the reality of the artists and director who create the piece. Are we looking at the character, or the artist who plays the character? In a sense, the actual performance takes place in the audience’s mind. But what is played and what is real? Are the performers manipulated by the director, or is it the other way round? And what about the audience? Who is actually manipulating who?

With S 62° 58', W 60° 39' (= South 62 degrees 58 minutes, West 60 degrees 39 minutes) Peeping Tom presents a new, visually impressive, cinematographic show which investigates human relations, everyday manipulations and intergenerational ghosts, but also delves into artistry, what it means to devote oneself to the stage as a performer, and fiction presented as fact.
