Opening Velodrome Leuven
Pending the construction of the new performing arts site, we are working together with many partners to provide a temporary use for the site of the former Sint-Pieters hospital.
Over the past few weeks, we built the wooden Velodrome together with artists Bruno Herzeele and Elke Thuy. This beautiful and special installation will become a new public space from July 10. You can get together, play, cycle, watch the outdoor film screenings of Cinema ZED, have a drink at the bar ... or organize something yourself!
PROGRAMME OPENING
Saturday 10th of July
- 10 am - 5 pm (non-stop): bar and free crazy bikes
- 3 pm: Fabotastix drum performance, together with Jo Zanders and the Ghanaian drummer Kobena
