This album, originally released on vinyl only, was composed with Jean-Marie Aerts (†) for the ROSAS/Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker dance performance. Based on Walkin' Blues, the album celebrates the blues as a narrative form and reflects the tradition of ‘catastrophe songs’ inspired by events such as the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927. The album illustrates how we can overcome catastrophes - physically, spiritually and emotionally - through music.
