65 years ago, young Johnny Cash came to the legendary Sun Records label, under Sam Phillips' wing. Songs from the first period, such as Folsom Prison Blues and I Walk The Line, have become evergreens over the years. 10 years later, he met June Carter, who wrote the international hit Ring of Fire.

His prison concerts at Folsom and San Quentin were legendary. In a raw and unpolished way, he sang about the sharp edges in the marginality of existence, in a place where they were felt the most.

In the 90s, Johnny Cash reached a young and alternative audience with his American Recordings. Songs by Beck, Soundgarden, and most of all Hurt by Nine Inch Nails were given a new dimension under the expert guidance of master producer Rick Rubin.

On 26 February 2022, Johnny Cash would have turned 90. This warm tribute to The Man in Black is in the safe hands of Guy Swinnen, Nathalie Delcroix, Patrick Riguelle, Bjorn Eriksson, Piet De Pessemier, Axl Peleman, Jan Hautekiet and Ron Reuman.
