In 2021, it is 75 years ago that the Nuremberg trials took place. In light of that anniversary, Stijn Devillé brings this instant classic back to the stage.

Hitler is dead. His main henchmen, Goebbels and Himmler, have committed suicide. Goering and Speer are soon captured by the Allies. The Axis of Evil has been defeated, the world lies in ruins. A massive clean-up operation is required, and the guilty must be punished.

Against the background of a city in ruins, four young Allied protagonists attempt to develop moral principles for the future. In the meantime, there are signs of growing tension and differing opinions among the accused, as one’s survival strategy means the other’s death warrant. Hitler is dead. But he leaves a huge bitter legacy.
