In a scenic earthy landscape, two figures walk towards each other, meanwhile, space revolves immersing the audience in a dreamlike dimension shaped by the slow metamorphosis and silent balance of nature. The dawn gives way to daytime, sunset tonight, in a present moment unveiling traces of the past: reality and imagination merge together bringing out vague reminiscences of distant stories and marvelous visions of an ‘upcoming world’. The artists perform on stage using poetical and imaginative language, blending contemporary circus techniques and choreographic research of dance.

Duo Kaos is an Italian-Guatemalan contemporary circus company founded by Giulia Arcangeli and Luis Paredes Sapper in 2009 and is currently based in Marches (Italy).

Their show Time to Loop counts 300 active performances in more than 15 countries. In 2020 they won the production bid ‘MARCHE ACCENDE’ dedicated to the enhancement and support of young artists of the Marches in theatre and dance. This is how ‘HORIZONTE’ is born, an interdisciplinary show, made in co-production with ‘MARCHE TEATRO’, which debuted in 2021 at ‘TEATRO DELLE MUSE’ in Ancona, within the framework of the historical and international showcase of ‘INTEATRO’ Festival. In 2022, a new creation came into being, FLORA, in coproduction with Bluecinque / Nice, the production center of contemporary circus
