Da Capo is a chronicle of a circus family. A visual, filmic show dealing with a family history of love, necessity, seeming coincidence and passion. It begins with young Adolph who ran away with a circus at the age of 15 in 1842 and ends with the 7th generation after Adolph performing in the ring of Circus Ronaldo. A story of 180 years of wonder.
Circus Ronaldo longs to tell the tale of this family, from the beginning to infinity. It is a universal story in which we can all recognise ourselves, because we all need to feel supported, trusted and connected. We all need a family.
