Maria Madeira shares her personal history in movement. With tap dance, ballet and acrobatics – disciplines she is trained in – she lets her body speak. This moving self-portrait echoes musicality, control and raw emotion.
Detail Company is a contemporary dance collective that focuses on the different components of movement. As a platform and collective, Detail Company connects and supports various circus artists. The group was founded by Margot Jansens, out of the need for more collective structures without losing the individual artistic perspective. Detail Company provides a home: a safe yet stimulating environment in which circus artists can grow and work together. Currently, the collaboration consists of Margot Jansens, Maria Madeira and Manon Verplancke.
