How do we try to climb up? To what extent do we rely on each other to do so? Is it height that is the scariest? Or is looking for a balance even scarier? Eight youngsters move across a life-size installation of ladders. Physical co-dependence has never been so exciting.
After Exit (2022) and Glorious Bodies (2023), circus artists and choreographer Piet Van Dycke started working with young people aged between 13 and 24. Beyond the Edge is a project of the art venues of Maasmechelen, Genk, Heusden-Zolder, Houthalen-Helchteren, Lommel and Tongeren, in collaboration with HET LAB/Krokusfestival and fABULEUS.
