At veelbeLEUVENd, young and ambitious musicians curate their own concert series, providing performance opportunities for emerging talents.
Each season, we invite an artist to take up a long-term residency at a community centre in Leuven. In this way, we create opportunities for new encounters, collaboration and deeper engagement.
In May 2027, THERE THERE Company will be setting up shop at the Casablanca community centre for a month-long residency centred on the theme of a community’s resilience. Through their physical and poetic circus practice, they will work with local residents to explore images of connection, attention and care.
This residency is a research project in preparation for the performance BUILDING (2030) and focuses on warm, human interaction within the neighbourhood. Follow our newsletter, social media and website for regular updates on these encounters.
