Pascale Rubens and Toon Van Mierlo, who form the folk group Naragonia, have been touring Europe for 20 years and have gained great popularity with the general public. Many other musicians have been inspired by their music and many of their compositions have been covered or recorded by bands at home and abroad, from Sweden to the United States. As a result, some of their melodies have become true standards in the folk scene.

During the 20 years they have spent on the road and on stage, they have met some truly remarkable people. No fewer than eleven of their musician friends will join them in Leuven to turn this concert into a unique and heartwarming experience.

Naragonia also celebrated its 10th anniversary in our Schouwburg theatre, which was sold out for the occasion. The atmosphere was magical. People of twelve different nationalities had travelled from all across Europe to celebrate. So, don’t be surprised if you find yourself seated next to a Portuguese or Estonian during this generous party. This event is not to be missed by lovers of folk, and music in general.

There will also be dance workshop, musical city tour and a folk ball to close the event.
