From 7 to 9 May 2027, CIRKL celebrates its tenth edition. For the third time, the festival will take over the Philipssite in Leuven with surprising creations from Belgium and abroad.
For this festive anniversary edition, we pose a stimulating question: what place does circus occupy today? Literally, culturally and socially. Once a temporary fringe phenomenon, rooted in tradition and constant movement, circus has grown into a vibrant and innovative art form that is very much alive.
