Trio Zadig
Lili Boulanger (1893-1918)
D’un matin de printemps
Fanny Mendelssohn (1805-1847)
Piano Trio, op. 11
This programme brings together two remarkable women from music history. D’un matin de printemps is a sparkling musical poem in which Lili Boulanger evokes the fresh, light‑hearted atmosphere of spring. A century earlier, Fanny Mendelssohn composed her Piano Trio, Op. 11, a work firmly rooted in the German Romantic tradition. Its strong sense of form and a close interplay between the instruments give this trio a striking power.
