For the opening concert, we invite the Huang sisters, both laureates of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition where they won the Audience Award. They’ll take us up to the North with the double concerto by Swedish composer Kurt Atterberg. His post-romantic style is closely related to the Nordic nationalist current of composers such as Grieg and Sibelius.
