Dutch composer and pianist Joep Beving has released a new album in 2026: Liminal. His focus on topics such as change, uncertainty and innovation led him to explore ways in which sound can create space for reflection and connection in a world that is in constant flux.

Known for his tranquil, expansive piano works, Beving’s new material exudes a sense of openness and curiosity. It strikes a balance between structure and intuition, and often seems both organic and guided by the human hand. The compositions induce moments of stillness, movement and contemplation, in which clarity and ambiguity can coexist.

On his world tour to promote his new album, he is also stopping off at 30CC – for the fifth time. During his concerts, Beving transforms his unique musical style into an intimate live experience, giving you the first chance to experience the atmosphere and ideas behind his new album.
