Small Town Boogie
The Jacquelines have stolen the hearts of audiences with catchy swing music from the 1940s. Now, they are once again taking us on a journey through time with several hits by the Andrews Sisters. Bei Mir Bist Du Schön, Rum And Coca Cola and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy are getting an update.
Another effervescent show with upbeat songs that will make it impossible to sit still, alternating with moments of emotion such as their own version of Edith Piaf’s La vie en rose and the hit Don’t Cry For Louie by Vaya Con Dios, or a three-part interpretation of Adamo’s Les Filles Du Bord De Mer.
The connecting thread is the typical Jacquelines sound: the perfectly attuned rhythm section, the characteristic three-part singing and the lyrics full of humour and engagement. Not to be missed!
