A bowling ball has one function - to knock over as many pins as possible at the end of a shiny, wooden lane. What if you think away the usual surroundings? Screws turns the relationship between body and object upside down. Unusual objects attached to the body provide support and grip, helping or hindering the performers’ balance. The objects either ensure that gravity can be overcome or is felt even more. With the help of crampons, bowling balls and anti-gravity shoes, the dancers defy the laws of physics.

Together with four dance acrobats, Vantournhout guides you along a series of mutually resonating micro-performances - from solos and duets to daring group choreographies. Let yourself be carried away by these wonderful miniature compositions on the outdoor locations of the STUK site.
