Rode Hond Festival Centre

The Festival Centre of this year’s ‘Rode Hond’ will set up camp in the 30CC/Schouwburg. Situated right in the middle of the city, it will be the ideal stopover on your journey from one fine activity to the next. From here, you can easily get to all other venues on foot, by bike or by bus.

Inside, 30CC offers a low-key programme which has the ‘joy of playing’ as a theme, in a selection of both analogue and digital games. In the corridors you may also bump into a magician, take a family portrait in the photo booth, have a break in the pop-up library or go for a complete metamorphosis with face paint and a new hair style. Of course, you are also very welcome to enjoy the pancakes or soup, a coffee or a soft drink, in the sumptuous foyer.

• BAZART, the artistic youth movement that mixes culture and fun, will open the Rode Hond festival. A huge pillow fight, flash mob, shouting choir or mad brass band? The kids of BAZART will, by the end of September, decide what’s going to happen at the opening. But it’s definitely going to be a smashing event! (Sa, 26/10)
