Raynor Winn (57) won our hearts with her personal story in the book The Salt Path. It was the memoir of the long coastal walk she undertook with her husband Moth, after becoming homeless and the diagnosis of Moth's degenerative, and probably terminal, disease.
This story, as written down in the bestsellers The Salth Path (selling over 250.000 copies in Flanders and The Netherlands) and The Wild Silence, is continued in the successor Landlines.
In her crystal-clear and empathic style, Winn depicts their toughest walk as a couple thus far: over 1.600 km, from the north of Scotland to the South West Coast.
Winn inspired millions of people worldwide to choose a simpler life and more connection with nature.
