Our love for music from Mali knows no bounds. Many great artists have already graced our stage, such as Salif Keita, Fatoumata Diawara, Boubacar Traoré, Vieux Farka Touré and Tinariwen. It was about time we invited the world’s most respected Malian singer, Oumou Sangaré.

Oumou Sangaré has been very well received worldwide since her debut album Moussolou broke all records. She uses her socially engaged lyrics to fight against discrimination against African women. Oumou Sangaré represents a new generation of griottes, West African poets and praise singers who honour the orally transmitted traditions. The accompaniment of traditional instruments, such as the karignan, the djembe and the kora, give her already velvety vocals an even deeper sound. Together with an impressive band, she is performing her latest album Timbuktu during this tour. We are eagerly awaiting this impressive lady’s concert!
