Under the motto No Excuses, No Limits, ILL-ABILITIES is an international all-star breakdance crew consisting of some of the world’s best dancers with a disability.
On the eve of the World Breaking Championship, these eight performers will take you on a journey through their personal stories using dance, music and interaction with the audience.
The “ill” in ILL-ABILITIES™ does not refer to “sick” or “unwell” but instead to something incredible, unique, intricate or talented. In hip-hop culture, “ill” has a positive meaning. By seeing their disabilities as “ill-abilities”, they can achieve physical feats deemed impossible by most able-bodied dancers!
