Fire Charmers

A wildcat named Lyanne wanders through a forest that has been destroyed by a wildfire. She decides to investigate the cause of the fire to ensure that it never happens again. Her search leads her to an encounter with three amphibians called Spark, Flame and Ash: a yellow-bellied toad, a spectacled salamander and a great crested newt. Together, they set off on an adventure that enables them to discover the connection between the four elements and all natural phenomena.

Fire Charmers is the third show of Fossick Project, a duo consisting of illustrator Cecilia Valagussa and singer/composer Marta del Grandi. The artists bring a contemporary version of shadow puppetry and take you on a musical journey of stories inspired by endangered species and the wonders of our planet. The stories invite the audience to reflect on the relationship between humans and planet earth.
