Liszt’s 'Tre sonetti del Petrarca' are three beautiful love songs, which he composed during his tumultuous relationship with writer and historian Marie d’Agoult. An affinity with Chopin’s 'Nocturnes' is also undeniable.
Élodie Vignon will combine them with Liszt’s 'Ballad No. 2', with its typical combination of menacing darkness and illuminating contemplation
