A Scottish Beethoven
The young Scottish Maxwell Quartet is making an impressive international career. In the words of Strad Magazine: “Superb storytelling by four great communicators”. They live up to their reputation with Beethoven’s masterpiece Opus 130, a string quartet ending in the phenomenal Große Fuge.
The Maxwell Quartet will also go back to their roots by playing a number of arrangements of Scottish folk music. Allow yourself to be carried away by their story!
