Benjamin 'Monki' Kuitenbrouwer (1988, Amsterdam), owes his nickname Monki to his preference for swinging back and forth between meters-high poles as an acrobat. He calls himself a circus artist and stage performer. He creates performances in which he uses circus as an intermediary between the things that occupy him every day. At this moment, he is exploring our view of mankind and the conviction that it is in need of change.
