del viejo Mundo is a brand new international top ensemble based
around lute player Floris De Rycker.
With three singers, a gamba and
a lute, they explore chansons, motets and madrigals of the Middle
Ages and Renaissance. Ratas del viejo Mundo explores the concepts and
ideas that make human beings into people – religiousness, but also
dreams, longing, humor, farewells and – the ultimate universal
subject – unrequited love.
