In the Viennese Classicism of the 18th century, the missa brevis or short mass emerged as a musical abridgment of the entire liturgical service. Gabriel Hollander and his young orchestra invite us to discover two of the most beautiful examples, composed in the 1770s by Mozart and Haydn. So rich in emotion, this abridged form invites to spiritual reflection, aesthetic appreciation and a deep connection with the timeless tradition of sacred music.
