Traditional music from Istanbul and from the Silk Roas meets Greek tradition with a contemporary twist.

Erini (GR/US)

Singer Erini grew up in a musical family on the island of Crete, where her mother introduced her to the Greek-Anatolian musical tradition. Her passion for singing was born.

After studying at Berklee, she created a new sound by combining her native tradition with genres such as jazz, pop and classical music, with a concert at the legendary Carnegie Hall as finale. She has collaborated with artists such as Danilo Perez, Terri Lyne Carrington and Daniel Hop and over 1 million people heard her sing when she toured with Cirque du Soleil. She visits 30 cc with a new album.

Dareyn (NL/RU/TR)

For Emine Bostancı, it was love at first hearing: the combination of her own kamancheh - the traditional Anatolian knee violin - with Maya Fridman's cello. These two string instruments engage in a passionate and melancholic dialogue and are the core of the ensemble Dareyn. “Dareyn” means “two worlds” in Ottoman Turkish and, indeed, the ensemble brings two worlds together: the East and the West. Four top musicians take the audience on a magical journey in a unique and enchanting soundscape. Discover music that draws from Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish and African sources.
