With Ensemble Céladon, we delve into the music of the Minnesänger, 13th-century minstrels from southern and northern Germany, who sang of courtly love in their poems and songs. Inspired by the Occitan tradition and the trouvères of northern France, these poet-musicians enriched the medieval repertoire with works imbued with nobility and chivalry.
