-----

A collaboration between choreographer Claire Croizé and the Goeyvaerts String Trio, based on two
compositions by the contemporary composer Charles Wuorinen. The first piece was created in 1968
and the second in 2017. That half-century is palpable in the great contrast between the two: where the
first piece is bursting with expressive energy, the second is characterised by a calm lyricism. Music
and dance circle one another in a game that is as dynamic and changing as the string trios
themselves: never a one-to-one translation, always a dialogue. A sensory fusion of dance and music,
at once intense and disruptive, such as the times in which we live.

A collaboration by 30CC and STUK.
