GLÜCKES GENUG - ROBERT SCHUMANN
you ever be 'happy enough'? These words, named after
a piece from Robert Schumann's Kinderszenen,
speak of such bliss. In thirteen poetic pieces, the composer takes
the audience back to their childhood.
While Jan Vermeulens plays the piano, images of playing children pass you by, ever colorful. The wonderfully appropriate footage featured in this performance stems from the rich archives of The House of Alijn in Ghent.
